About me
Hi i’m Gyona Rice,
I created Mind Your Speech out of a combination of my personal racial experiences, my thirst for knowledge, and my dedication to social action. With this campaign, I hope to better understand how institutions, educators, and individuals can have a better commitment to tackling these forms of racism when it occurs and even preventing it from happening in the future. I also hope to encourage people to see these representations of Blacks as an issue in our contemporary society and join us in the struggle to reconstruct their perceived identities.
